Key Responsibilities
Training Program Development
Design and develop training modules and curriculum for disaster management and other ongoing projects, aligned with NDMA, UNDRR, and Sphere Standards. Incorporate case studies, simulations, and real-life scenarios for practical, hands-on learning.
Conducting Training Sessions:
Facilitate interactive training sessions, workshops, and mock drills on disaster preparedness and response for diverse groups. Conduct tabletop exercises and simulations to assess readiness and recovery capabilities.
Coordination & Collaboration
Coordinate with government bodies, NGOs, and authorities to deliver impactful training programs. Work with project coordinators and subject experts to ensure timely execution and continuous improvement of training content.
Project Planning & Management
Lead and manage teams of 100–150 professionals across government and internal disaster management projects. Define goals, scope, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders. Oversee project execution, integrate early warning systems, and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure success.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate training records, conduct impact assessments, and develop tools to measure learning outcomes. Prepare detailed reports and recommend improvements based on training feedback and performance.
Research & Continuous Improvement
Stay current with industry trends and best practices to enhance training quality. Implement digital learning tools and simulations for greater impact. Develop project proposals, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic recommendations to strengthen disaster preparedness based on feedback and assessments.
